Welcome! My name is Rania, founder of Ayen & Company. A little about me, I am originally from South Sudan, in east Africa, now living in the United States. I am a mother to a beautiful and energetic toddler named Azariah Ayen, whom this brand is dedicated to. 

I moved to the States, along with my family, at five years old and spent most of my childhood being raised in the Midwest. A good amount of my earlier memories involved shopping and fully enjoying the process of getting dressed in the cutest outfits. My favorite items were often designs with bright colors and different characters. 

Now that I’m older, looking back, I can not remember a time when I received a clothing item with a design I felt personally connected to. This is where Ayen & Company comes in. This brand is here to celebrate culture while providing an avenue for the children in our lives to connect with their roots through clothing. 

In the process of creating Ayen & Company, it has been such a joy to watch my toddler have an experience I did not. To see her proudly walk around wearing t-shirt designs that represent who she is and where her family comes from has been nothing short of fulfilling.

In no way is Ayen & Company designed to be only for those who may feel personally connected but it is for all who desire to celebrate African culture or simply enjoy bright and colorful designs.
